I'm Rick Durbin, a proud North Idaho College graduate and local financial planner.

My roots run deep in this community, and I understand firsthand the vital role NIC plays in shaping futures.

I graduated from Post Falls High School in 1989, and with my associate degree from North Idaho College, bachelor's and master's from the University of Idaho, and years of business experience, I'm uniquely positioned to guide North Idaho College through its current challenges.

Why North Idaho College Matters

I’m passionate about education and have been considering running for the past year because of the ongoing turmoil within the board and the serious concerns about NIC’s accreditation. The board needs strong leadership, focused on teamwork, serving students, faculty, and the community, to ensure that NIC’s legacy continues for years to come.

I'm committed to ensuring NIC continues to offer the same opportunities that launched my career to future generations. I believe in NIC's power to transform lives and strengthen our community.
